Ryan Adams has never been called a one-trick pony, and he's proved that even further today. Having dabbled in the worlds of alt-country, folk, and even metal (see: his hardcore release with Fall Out Boy), he's now set his sights on the punk world. He recently released a limited edition 7" titled 1984, which he sees as “homage to the halcyon days of the earliest releases from Dischord, SST, Touch & Go and their ilk.”

Physical versions have been sold out for a while now, but thankfully you can stream it in its entirety below. This isn't the sensitive, acoustic-guitar toting Adams we all know and love - he trades his acoustic for blast beat drums and shrieking guitars, and it's beyond badass.
