When Sage Francis hinted that he would be putting music on the backburner and taking a bit of a break after his 2010 album Li(f)e, everyone was worried that it meant he may not come back at all - and with good reason, as that record was great. Thankfully he was indeed just taking some much needed time off from rigorous recording and touring, and his new album Copper Gone is out on 3 June through Strange Famous Records. On the album he takes issue with a lot of the problems that the hip-hop world is currently having and there's no one better to do it than him with his consistently smart lyrical choices and heavy beats.
