There's going to be a Donovan tribute album released next month (16th October) courtesy of Rock The Cause Records. It's called Gazing Wtih Tranquility and it will feature contributions from The Flaming Lips, Hamilton Leithauser and Sharon Van Etten, to name a few. Proceeds from the sales of the record will go to Huntington's Hope.

You can listen to Sharon Van Etten's contribution, a reworking of Donovan's 1968 song 'Teen Angel', below. Speaking to NPR, Van Etten said:

"I’ve admired Donovan’s voice and minimal psychedelic songs since I was a child. In the folk world he was still very 'left' and it stood out to me. Even though he was a trippy cat, he was still a romantic and I loved seeing both of those sides."
