Shannon Saunders caused quite a stir in the blogosphere last month with her stunning leftfield pop track, 'Sheets'. Its follow up, 'Silly Little Things', has all the ingredients to maintain the hype status of this undeniable talent. Instrumentally it twists the normal pop formula, with a Middle Eastern slant on traditional pop beats, crisp grooves and samples. Shannon's vocal display is equally strong; showing conviction in its defiant chorus, though still maintaining that deeply vulnerable edge as she narrates the listener through her failed relationship in the verse.

The single is due out on 24th November via Yup!/Caroline, with a full length currently being finished for release next year. Saunders stands out as one of the most exciting new talents around, and one who looks poised to make 2015 her own.
