This coming Record Store Day (mark April 19th on your calenders if you haven't already), long-running Richmond, Virginia hardcore label Robotic Empire will debut their exclusive collection of Nirvana cover tracks.

The maroon vinyl will feature the likes of Ceremony, Thursday, Daughters, Mean Jeans, and the late great Memphis garage dynamo Jay Reatard. Robotic Empire proudly debuted the latter two band's cover songs earlier today, with Mean Jeans taking on 'Very Ape' and Reatard treading 'Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle'.

Reatard's cover, no remastered, was actually one of his final recordings before his untimely death in January 2010. Listen to both covers below and grab a pre-order of the cover record today.
