We've been a fan of London quartet Sun Machine ever since they released their debut psych-pop track 'Have You Seen It, It's Alive'. Fortunately, seven months and three songs I'm happy to say we're just as enthusiastic about Sun Machine.

Their new track, the wonderfully named 'Tamaho Hitman pt. 1', is a perfect example of hook-laden alt-pop music that swims in lush reverb and off-kilter melody. The single, released on the Too Pure Singles Club on 25th August is the kind of music that makes it impossible for me, a lazy journalist, to mention how effortlessly the track soundtracks the summer.
