Here's something new from a singer-producer called Rainbow Chan, originally from Hong Kong but now based in Sydney. The track is called 'Sanguine' and it's a slice of breezy electronica that ripples gelatinously on a bed of delicious thumping trap-flavoured beats, decorated with pinging percussive blips and blops, vocals both chopped and pitch-shifted and fluttering in their original forms, whistling sounds and soft muffled synth, all of which builds to a light crescendo towards the end.

It's a pop-leaning beat track that's as subtly sultry as it is playful and carefree: the perfect track for a fresh spring day like today. (And you can download it for free, too!) Check out Rainbow Chan's SoundCloud for more of her innovative, beat-based offerings.
