Andrew Hung is going to be releasing a follow-up to his Rave Cave EP, which was crafted entirely on a Nintendo Gameboy. It's quite literally a follow-up, too, being titled simply Rave Cave 2; it's out 13th November.

At the same time as this announcement he's also shared 'Repetition vs Time' and written this statement about the track:

This bloke called Lao Tzu said "if you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present." Don’t we all feel that? Try it now, check out your surroundings and realise you're all right.

The burden of humanity is also our strength: imagination. One facet that has evolved out of imagination is time. However time doesn't exist; clocks exist. The more I began to entrench that idea, the closer I got to the state we're in as children i.e. being free of anxiety or depression.

Cheers to being!

You can listen to the bloops, bleeps, shuffling-ticking beats, and soothing ambient washes of the very chiptune 'Repetition vs Time' below (Note/fun fact: Lao Tzu is the founder of Taoism). Andrew Hung is also playing a few live dates in the near future, check them out at the end of this post.

You can download 'Repetition vs Time' here.
