Allow us to introduce this latest track from Vancouver-based band Mesa Luna, aka Justice McLellan and Alex Cooper. In 'Waster' the pair create a vital sound with glittering synths, urgent melodies and solemn slices of piano; throw in some abrasive guitars, gentle but raw vocals and a gradual noisy crescendo towards the end and you've got something that crosses catchy and danceable with low-slung anthemic post-rock and it works out a treat.

The duo shared these words with us regarding the background of 'Waster':

"Waster is about an unlikely relationship between two people in a very normal but sterile place. It has to do with their dynamic and the surprising hope found through their cynical scope of what they have experienced in their lives."
