With a combination of clean clacking beats and soft, organ-esque synth chords, this is 'Sad & High', the latest one from London-based musicmaker Dillistone. The producer, a self-confessed "lovechild of Copenhagen, Shanghai and London," takes the hook from Danish singer-songwriter Emmelie de Forest's song 'Drunk Tonight', from which Dillistone's fluid and jaunty reworking takes its name, and scatters it like fragile decorations – alongside glittering undulations of bleeps – on the blanket of sound he creates, with gently rumbling bass and a slow, pendulous rhythm keeping time.
