I dunno about you but I literally, and I mean literally, cannot stomach the sound of someone vomiting (real or fake, it's just that fucking sound) on loop for like half a minute. Yep, that's my opening gambit here, and for good reason: I just wanted to let you know that this is not a mix created by Kurt Cobain, it's a sound collage in which anything goes.

It was created in 1988 and basically, well, it's well noisy and a total mess. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I suppose… no, yeah, this all makes sense really; there's some screaming about Satan, there's some bits from the 1977 cartoon film of The Hobbit (namely Smaug saying his "teeth are like swords"), some Arabic singing, the sound of someone pissing and flushing the chain (least they flushed), reversed voices, a lot of screaming, distortion, Fred Flinstone shouting about where his bowling ball is, ragged bits of butchered records, and a bunch of other stuff. A very experimental mix of noisy shit and stuff for children, giving you quite a unique insight into the mind of Mr. Cobain, aged 21 at the time.

You know how there's outsider art, for violent criminals serving life-sentences and things like that? This honestly sounds like the sound equivalent, Cobain or no Cobain. However, it's worth a listen cause it's interesting – I mean, people watch horror films, so why not listen to one, right?
