I'm a shameless fan of puns so when I got an email entitled 'To Be Frank’ I couldn't help but listen. Luckily the music of Suffolk-based singer/songwriter Frank Pescod is equally as witty and enjoyable as his performing name.

To Be Frank is an enticing world of slick, hook-laden alt-pop, that sounds like nothing else. His most recent track ‘Shot’, which we’re pleased to premiere here at The 405 is a shamelessly catchy and upbeat affair, managing to combine witty, autobiographical lyrics with an relentless electronic-tinged backdrop. The track, which comes ahead of his debut album due for release at the end of the year, feels like Frank’s most bold and confident track to date; in his own words the track was born out of "a time when I was struggling with a lot of things around me. It's all about fighting for your art and giving everything you have despite what people think.”
