Torres' sophomore album Sprinter is out on 18 May via Partisan Records, and so far we've heard just 'Strange Hellos'. Now the title track is available to listen to, and it contains all of of the looming darkness that we've come to love from Torres, or Mackenzie Smith. It touches on religion and the way some people come to question it in their lifetime - "My pastor told us, 'Don’t you worry/even Zaccheaus Found his glory'/ I was a sprinter then/living to see it end/well pastor lost his position/went down for pornography..." backed by haunting melodies. Stream 'Sprinter' below.
