Wonky, jazzed-up and glowing to the point of sunstroke, Tropes' latest offering musses up tape noise with chopped soulful samples and a huge scoop of creativity.

The end result is a lush mish-mash of texture and sound effects, part-way between lounge jazz house, hip-hop beats and the stitched and cut electronics the likes of Airhead, Leatherette and Lapalux love to play with.

No surprise really, since his last release was half of the Split Tapes project, which was experimental and sublime in equal measures, all available on cassette.
