PMR Records affiliate Ben Ash, aka Two Inch Punch, unveils his first piece of solo work in three years; his last collection of all-original music being the criminally underrated Saturn: Slow Jams EP in 2012. Since then, he's been earning some considerable production chops, working with the likes of Sam Smith, Moko, Becky Hill and Years & Years as well as Jessie Ware, Ryn Weaver and Juicy J as part of BenZel with Benny Blanco.

While there aren't any immediate plans to release more solo material (a full BenZel album is said to be in the works), Ash puts a little T.I.P. flavour on Janet Jackson's musical comeback, 'No Sleeep', for a more funk-filled, foot-tapping version over the more sultry, lazy-Sunday original. While it's strikingly different to the original, it's a perfect example of Ash's valiant production qualities that make him one of the best in class. Perhaps Janet should give him a call to get on that new album…
