In a move that's sure to fog up the horn rimmed glasses of indie kids everywhere, Vampire Weekend took to BBC Radio 1 today, delivering a cover of Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'.

The most surprising about the cover is how great it is. While the band handles the funk of the track with ease, vocalist Ezra Koening handles all the 'come on' lyrics and rap with falsetto styled earnestness.

We can only hope Vampire Weekend have more covers like this in store for us in the future. Listen by heading here.

The band's third LP, Modern Vampires of the City, is available now.
