With fretwork boasting more chops than a mouthful of roast pork, 'At Night In Dreams' sees White Denim take the slick swagger of The Black Keys and inject it with the psychedelic nonchalance of tour-buddies Tame Impala.

It's more immediate and direct than last year's Takes Place in Your Work Space, and James Petralli's throaty vocals pack more of a punch than a concrete punchbag - giving the Texas four-piece a renewed attitude. Not all has changed though - the frenetic, staccato musical timing that defines their work still drives the track, working in unison with Josh Block's focused drumming to create a strobe-lighting, foot-convulsing effect. Best served with a pair of retro 70s sunglasses and some serious air-guitar work.

White Denim release upcoming album Corsicana Lemonade on 28th October via Downtown.

They also tour the UK in November, with all dates sold-out apart from Manchester's Gorilla and one of two nights at London's Village Underground. Tickets are on sale now: http://www.gigsandtours.com/tour/white-denim
