So-and-so is releasing a new five-track EP in a few months, your problematic fave dropped a pretty risque new video and that washed up band that no one has even thought of for a good decade now, has decided to reunite and head out on a world tour. These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

GEOWULF share new single 'Don't Talk About You'

Dream-pop duo, GEOWULF are back following the success of their debut single 'Saltwater' with another melodic one. Hear 'Don't Talk About You' below. "This song went through a geographical & creative metamorphosis over almost two years... We originally wrote it in Copenhagen, demo'ed it in Stockholm and then revisited it recently when Toma & I were both in London. I guess the song speaks for itself but ultimately it falls in the good ol' "wanting-something-that-ain't-good-for-you" vein," Star said.

IDER unleash brand new song 'Million'

North London duo, IDER have had a pretty phenomenal year as far as breakout years go and they're already prepping for next year to be even bigger. Cash+David unleash new skate visuals for 'Elixr'

For the third part of their skate crew video series, Cash+David release new visuals for their track 'Elixr.' "Our goal with this project was to show the world of female skateboarding the way that it really is instead of using it as inspiration for a more stylized, polished narrative. We are so incredibly grateful to Cash+David for trusting us with this important and powerful story. These are incredible athletes fighting to legitimize their talent in the eyes of the world, but beyond that these are amazing people -- and that's what we were trying to highlight. These are stories about human feeling, resilience and friendship but most of all, they are about these bad ass girls writing their own story in the skateboarding industry."
