So-and-so is releasing a new five-track EP in a few months, your problematic fave dropped a pretty risque new video and that washed up band that no one has even thought of for a good decade now, has decided to reunite and head out on a world tour. These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

Nots shares video for 'Inherently Low'

Memphis-based collective, NOTS have shared a new video for their latest track 'Inherently Low. Frontwoman, Natalie Hoffmann put the piece together following last week's election results, while explaining that "the tension and fear that came with the results certainly played a part in the visual outcome of the video. America has elected someone who has openly campaigned to keep us low. To keep us completely divided. To keep us at war. I don't think that I (or anyone) can fully process the weight of what is to come, but this video is an attempt to translate both what the song is about, and how I've felt since the election results - a new awareness, anger, and fear about being kept inherently low." Watch and listen below.

Peluché share 'Family' ahead of debut EP, out next week

Ahead of the release of their debut EP Utopia Village, which is coming next week on RIP Records, Peluché have revealed 'Family', the second track to be taken from the project. "We are very proud of this EP. It’s our first collection of songs, which we have written and self-produced. The first half represents feelings of commitment and attachment; the way that people can feel connected in positive and negative polarities. The second half is about taking a chance and breaking free as musicians," they said in a statement.

Boys Noize share tour dates and video for '2 Live'

German producer Alex Ridha, AKA Boys Noize, is heading out on a string of European headline tour dates, early next year, where he plans to hit up London on February 11 and Glasgow’s Sub Club on February 12. To accompany the news, he's delivered LIL INTERNET and SUSBOY-directed visuals for '22 Live' featuring T.E.E.D. "I've played in Mexico City many times, it’s one of my favorite places in the world,” Boys Noize said. "The scene is really special, it has a big art scene and sub-culture but unlike E.U. cities because it’s still so raw and wild, you can see and feel it everywhere in the streets. People don't really know how cyberpunk Mexico City is, and we knew we had to shoot there, with crazy anime malls, bootleg electronics, and illegal steroid markets 30 minutes away from 2000 year old pyramids. My friend and director Lil Internet had the vision for it and was used to shooting in dicey places without permits, and Sus Boy added his magic CGI really enhancing the cyber romance element."
