So-and-so is releasing a new five-track EP in a few months, your problematic fave dropped a pretty risque new video and that washed up band that no one has even thought of for a good decade now, has decided to reunite and head out on a world tour. These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

Bayonne shares new lively video for 'Living Room' with tour dates

Austin-based, Bayonne has a new album on the way and a tour in motion. And now, he's decided to share a new music video to celebrate everything he has in the works. 'Living Room' was animated by Man Mantis for Gorilla Nun Creative, and brings Bayonne's vision to life. "Living Room' sounds different than anything else I've released…it’s much more sporadic and wild. I wanted the video to be different as well and I love the way the animation makes it feel so playful, bizarre, and cartoonish," he said.

Arkells deliver visuals for latest single 'My Heart's Always Yours'

The Arkells have some new visuals in support of their latest single 'My Heart's Always Yours' which is taken from their recent album Morning Report. "Making a video for a romantic song is hard. If you're not careful it'll quickly turn in to the trailer for A Walk To Remember. We loved (director) Ally's previous work, and when she pitched a treatment that was more abstract and less on the nose, we were immediately drawn to the idea. There's a visceral experience about being in an art gallery that I really enjoy. A lot of great art doesn't serve it right up to you - you have to patiently take it in and then unpack your feelings. That's what the video offers - it gives me the feels without any trite nods to romantic nostalgia," Max said.
