So-and-so is releasing a new five-track EP in a few months, your problematic fave dropped a pretty risque new video and that washed up band that no one has even thought of for a good decade now, has decided to reunite and head out on a world tour. These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

Peacefrog signee Mined reveals his debut track 'Pangs'

New Peacefrog signee, Mined has shared a peaceful debut track 'Pangs' which was also accompanied by a mesmerising video directed by The Rest (Little Simz). The song is a rich electronic number that may remind you of something you could hear from James Blake, Caribou and Boards of Canada and it was ultimately inspired by"pangs of longing you get for people that are no longer in your life." Tove Lo is anticipating the release of her second album lady Wood. And she's celebrating the imminent release by ssharing her new single 'True Disaster.' "I feel like every shrink I’ve ever had said I have two sides: a really self destructive side and one that’s really ambitious and driven and wants to get things done. I guess that’s why I've made it here," she says about the inspiration behind the new song.

The Loft Club share new visuals for single 'Heart's Desire'

Car Seat Headreast announces UK show dates for 2017

Car Seat Headrest is coming to the UK this coming spring. The indie-rock project will play his biggest shows to date in March of 2017, when he comes to plays shows at the Electric Ballroom in London as well as Manchester's Gorilla and Leeds' Brudenell Social Club.
