These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

ROCH delivers electronic pop single 'This Is Now'

Start your week of with synths in the form of ROCH's brand new pulsating single 'This Is Now,' which was released this past Friday. The song follows her summer dream pop delivery 'Vienna' and is a head into a more bold lane. ROCH was inspired by Silver Apples and a specific sound, "I wanted to create a track with repetitive drums and oscillating, pulsing synths," she said. Mission complete.

Lao Ra premieres 'Bang Boom' and shares tour dates

Colombian singer, Lao Ra has a tour coming up, which means she needs to deliver some new material to perform. The talented pop artist is heading out to support artists like Crystal Fighters and Anne-Marie on their forthcoming tours so Lao is celebrating the announcement with her new single 'Bang Boom.' LVL UP are heading out on a UK/EU tour

New York-based band, LVL Up released their third album Return to Love before heading out on a lengthy North American tour. But now, the band is heading through Europe on a nine-country tour for this coming spring. It's their first time playing across the pond. Find all dates below.

Outlines Festival releases first round of 2017 performers

The organisers of Sheffield's Outlines Festival have announced the first wave of talent for 2017's event, with Jagwar Ma, Slow Club, Lady Leshurr and The Selecter among the key names so far. The multi-venue city-based festival will return to Sheffield City Centre for its second year on the weekend of March 3-4. Look out for more announcements soon.
