So-and-so is releasing a new five-track EP in a few months, your problematic fave dropped a pretty risque new video and that washed up band that no one has even thought of for a good decade now, has decided to reunite and head out on a world tour. These are the things I need to post at a fervent pace, to not only keep up with the over-saturated blogosphere, but to harness the steady stream of emails that will inevitably continue their high-pressured pursuit into my inbox all hours of the day for the remainder of the week, (and probably on the weekend too, depending on the publicist.)

So to combat the rat-race, we're offering a content compromise in the form of our new daily column, Live From The Gutter - an afternoon recap of the day's press releases and the contents of my 405 email.

'Bloodlines' if the first single from her forthcoming record out January 2017, which follows her 2014-released debut record Gemini Gemini. Toothless share Ibiza-bound video for 'The Sirens' featuring The Staves

Toothless have offered an incredibly dope video for The Sirens, featuring The Staves. The Ibiza-based video will make you want to go back if you've been there before or spend your savings to go for the first time, if you haven't yet. "We spent 4 sleepless nights in Ibiza trying to show the island's surreal and seductive qualities in ways that have never been done before. When one thinks of Ibiza, particularly when it appears in music videos, its all beach parties, clubs and heteronormative perspectives. We wanted to show a stranger side; full of surprises, gender fluidity and mystical abandon. We've tried to show a 'normal' guy's journey into a world of hedonism; where he is chewed up and spat out by the Sirens of the island where it’s always unclear who is using who?" director Kit Monteith said.

Garbage shares sci-fi video for 'Magnetized'

Garbage have enlisted video director Scott Stucky for a sci-fi-savvy video their second single 'Magnetized' off their critically acclaimed album Strange Little Birds. "We made the video for Magnetized at Pancake Mountain Headquarters in Los Angeles with an incredibly gifted team under the madcap direction of my next door neighbour Scott Stuckey. We wanted to create an ode to the magic of science and the mysteries of love."
