There's a pretty good chance that you're already (perhaps unknowingly) familiar with 22-year-old producer, artist, multi-instrumentalist and engineer Aaron London. While his own musical releases are still pretty limited, all of his tracks are well into - or close to - the 100k club on SoundCloud, with 'The Good Vibe' earning spins on Beats 1, and 'In The Cut', which features Saxophone artist Masego, earning considerable praise across the musical blogosphere.

Keeping the good vibes going, Aaron joins forces with 405 favourite Kojey Radical for the 'Trapped Prelude' which, as the title suggests, is merely a prelude to a full track the pair worked on. An ambient production with a darker undertone, Kojey delivers his signature ferocious, thought-provoking words while Aaron, offering an equal balance, brings a softer and smoother tone to the track, which runs at just under two minutes. "I am a big fan of Kojey's work and hit him up," Aaron old us over email. "He got back to me back swiftly and said he was interested in the collaboration. He was adamant to keep the process as organic as possible and to not exchange files over email. It was one of the most memorable sessions I've ever had."

Aaron will be previewing more new music at his upcoming headline show at London's Servant Jazz Quarters on April 28, with limited tickets available here. In the meantime, enjoy the 'Trapped Prelude' and be on the lookout for more music from Aaron in the coming weeks and months ahead.
