Good news for all you Ministry of Sound fans out there; after the sad announcement that the legendary London club would be closing its doors due to the construction of a residential block across the street (and inevitable noise complaints), it seems it isn't necessarily going to happen.

An open letter to London Mayor Boris Johnson, who had previously promised that the club would be "safe and sound," seems to have worked and after a hearing yesterday he stated that it "striked him as being essentially a dispute about neighbours which has not benefitted from the spirit of cooperation I would like to see."

With a new meeting scheduled for another month, Lohan Presencer, Ministry of Sound's chief executive is very positive about the final resolution, saying he'll "will sit down with the developer to work on a mutually agreeable, sustainable solution." [via FACT]"
