Loom have announced details of a covers cassette, set be released on August 19th via Hate Hate Hate Records.

The cassette will be limited to 200 copies and feature songs by bands that have influenced them. It will feature covers of Seasick (Jesus Lizard), Big Take Over (Bad Brains), Warsaw (Warsaw before they became Joy Division), Caribou (Pixies) and Bite It You Scum (GG Allin).

The 405 will be exclusively revealing each of the five tracks every day this week. Today, we bring you their gritty cover of Jesus Lizard's 'Seasick'. Riding along on heavy guitars paired with a tough beat, Tarik Badwan's vocals rock through, plunging the track into a unique darkness.

Badwan said of the release: "The cassette is a collection of songs written by bands that have been an influence on our music and we wanted to show that. Each song has such a unique personality but we wanted to infuse them with our own."

Loom will play a free show at Old Blue Last on 22nd August to launch the cassette. As previously announced they’ll also play a residency at Camden's The Black Heart, starting on 4th September. See the full dates below.
