I don't know about you, but I always felt that a Latin tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival was something that was largely missing from my life. The hole in my heart has now been fixed by the forthcoming compilation Quiero Creedence - a fourteen-track album that features several artists from Los Lobos to ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons covering classics from John Fogerty & co. in what is being described as a "Latin-inspired, multi-lingual tribute album."

Judging by the album sampler, which enables us to listen to one-and-a-half minutes from each track, it sounds pretty amazing; I've fallen particularly in love with El Tri's 'Proud Mary' and Los Enanitos Verdes' 'Travellin' Band', but every single version is great in its own way. Quiero Creedence is out on July 29th on CD and digital; you can stream the album sampler below.
