One of the Netherlands most iconic festivals is back in 2019 for its 27th edition: taking place at Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Lowlands is a huge, adventurous cultural outdoor event mixing music, film, art, visual arts, theatre, literature, and science.

However, music is the event's central piece, and this year's first line-up names have just been announced: leading them are the likes of Tame Impala, The National, A$AP Rocky, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Giorgio Moroder, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, IDLES, Franz Ferdinand, POND, and New Order, in what is shaping up to be one of the best festival destinations this August.

This is nothing but the tip of the iceberg, though; a grand total of 250 acts will be performing at Lowlands this year, so keep an eye on the official website for first-hand info. Tickets go on sale on February 2nd, with the 3-day pass (including camping and shuttle bus) priced at 200 euros.
