With his debut solo full-length Whet out on the 24th via Cosmic Dancer, Lucas Oswald has unveiled the visuals for his addictive, slightly Britpop-ish single 'Dark On Us'. The clip, which is described by Oswald himself as an intimate look into the song's meaning ("somewhere between panic and sedation"), was directed by Andy Byers and can be watched below as a 405 Premiere.

"I was looking at the simple struggle one can often have with oneself of not being satisfied with the reality we live in and transversely being afraid of that normality of life," Oswald explains. "We find alternate paths to take that can either enlighten or become destructive to our personal state of being. In this case I think we were trying to encourage the idea of neither outweigh the other. It's possible that looking into the darker side of reality can help to conjure within oneself a greater holistic realization of the universe we create for ourselves."

Lucas Oswald is embarking on a UK tour right after the album's release; check out the dates below along with the aforementioned video.
