Riding the wave of success that the previous year's album, One in a Million had generated, she breezed into Superfest in San Diego on October 6th and delivered a brilliant 24-minute set. She would die in a plane crash four years later - if you needed a reminder of how good Aaliyah was, then this performance fits the bill.
