M.I.A hasn't been shy about laying her truth out all on the line with the release of her new album AIM. She recently claimed that Interscope stalled the release of her Diplo collaboration 'Bird Song' and now she's sharing that her last album was buried over controversy.

Matangi, which was released in 2013 through her own imprint N.E.E.T., (under Interscope,) suffered thanks to issues surrounding the time she gave the middle finger at the Super Bowl and a few other things that she's listsed as: "NFL, music industry baby daddy battle, my ex manager became my label head, and politics."
