It was probably to be expected the moment they announced that they were a "thing", but it seems that, after a run of disastrous gigs across the UK, Macaulay Culkin's pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute/parody/whatever (the more I write or speak those worse, the less sense they make) Pizza Underground have thrown in the greasy napkin.

Cancelling the remainder of their 'Exploding Pizza Inevitable' tour, which was set to run until 7th June, is no surprise to pretty much anyone seeing as how they have been booed and pelted with beer onstage after their 'joke' got too much for some people. It seems, however, this move is only related to the UK tour and any other shows they had planned outside the UK are still a go for Culkin and friends' pizza themed shenanigans.
