Last year the internet lost its shit when Madonna's still to-be-announced new album unexpectedly leaked online, with most tracks not even being in their final form.

The person responsible for the leak, an Israeli hacker, has now received a 14-month sentence for computer trespassing, fraud, and intellectual property offenses. Adi Lederman was also fined in NIS 15,000.

The sentence was however more lenient than it should have been, given Lederman's medical issues and the fear that a more extensive trial could expose further details of Madonna's personal life.
