"I write songs about things I see, things I feel, and things I care about. I don't come from a 'scene'; I'm just trying to write really great songs..." says Maiday, and writing really great songs is something she does rather well (she's written for the likes of Leona Lewis, Wretch 32 and Girls Aloud).

Continuing to tease her upcoming Anatomy EP, which is due for release in the summer, Maiday has unveiled the Mojam-produced 'You' which lyrically "echoes the haunts from an encounter at an event with a previous lover." It's an emotional, hard-hitting message of realism that pretty much everyone goes through at some point in their lives.

After being locked away in the studio for the past few years, plans are forming for Maiday's debut headline tour later this year to support the release of the Anatomy EP. Listen to 'You' below.
