Earlier this year Marcus Norberg released his debut solo album Heal The World with the help of his briliantly titled band The Disappointments. It comes after a spell winning hearts in Swedish band YAST, but his solo work shows clearly why he decided to go alone, to allow his more musically eloquent and understated side show.

Heal The World is available now through Adrian Recordings, but we're here today to bring an extra treat. 'Someone Said (It Ain't Easy)' was actually the first song that Norberg wrote for his solo project, but in the end decided it didn't quite fit into the album. Nevertheless, the song, reminiscent of slowcore greats Low in its delicate-yet-cavernous unfurling, is still very much worthy of release. To go along with the track his friend and member of The Disappointments Erik Mellerstedt has put together a suitably gothic and moody video for 'Someone Said (It Ain't Easy)', which is a tribute to the video for 'The Letter' by The Box Tops. Watch the clip and enjoy the song below.

Marcus Norberg and the Disappointments will be playing in Stockholm at Obaren tomorrow. If you happen to be in the area, grab your tickets here.

If you're not in Sweden, make sure to keep up with Marcus on his Facebook and keep track of Adrian Recordings' releases over on theirs.
