Eminent electronic producer Matthew Herbert released enduring album Bodily Functions some 11 years ago, a piece of work much-lauded at the time and has remained highly respected since in the house music world; and indeed the wider music-world.

Now Herbert's own label Accidental Records is to reissue the album in two forms - a special edition 2CD, and a limited 12" remix release that will feature new material and tracks from the original album (which was released in 2001). Listening to the tracks below demonstrates how amazingly ahead of the curve the chap was, sounding as fresh today as ever before - label mate Dave Aju helping out with remix duties on 'Foreign Bodies'

Bodily Functions is out on 17th December - and watch out for the “Herbert Complete” box set, to be released in early 2013.
