Although not the new album that many Max Tundra fans are longing for, the English multi-instrumentalist has just released With Love to Mummy - a resurrection of a six-track cassette made between 1993 and 1997. Containing an eclectic mixture of tracks including 'XFM Jingles' - a couple of radio jingles unsuccessfully sent-in to, (you guessed it!) XFM - and 'Bracken Beach' - Max's lengthiest composition to date - it's his first release since 2008's Parallax Error Beheads You.

All the tracks on the album have never been released before, and he has even said that depending on the success of With Love to Mummy he may: "Put a brand new as yet unwritten Max Tundra album on here (Bandcamp) one day." If that isn't a call for Max Tundra fans to arm themselves with the nearest three pounds and splash it on the new release, I don't know what is.
