Manchester’s Mealtime have released their delectable second single ‘Teef’. The six-piece won over fans in their city and further afield with the dark and danceable debut ‘Denim’ and the follow-up continues in a similar style. ‘Teef’’s lyrical content is whimsical yet the driving synth and woozy guitar make it feel current with a real replay quality.

A song meant to be played at night, the band sing of oceans and creatures against experimental production techniques and permeating guitar lines. Speaking on ’Teef’, the band commented: "Sonically and lyrically, the song showcases a different side to us compared to our debut track 'Denim'. We mixed up darker, atmospheric beats with sugary sweet songwriting. We wanted the feel like waking up from a deep sleep."

Known for their formidable live performance, the band will test drive ‘Teef’ at Hebden Bridge’s Trades Club on August 30.
