Born and raised in Peckham, South London, Cosima has already won considerable praise with her debut release 'Had To Feel Something', but her new single 'Girls Who Get Ready' might be even better.

Inspired by the duality between "the negativity of mainstream perceptions of what makes a woman desirable and the fun to be had when getting ready to go out with her girlfriends," 'Girls Who Get Ready' is something of a protest song to those who still have those ridiculously outdated views on how a woman should be presented. "I wanted to express the insecurity I was feeling," Cosima said in a press release. "But I also wanted to celebrate a self-improvement that doesn't bleed into self-destruction."
