When I sat down with Mura Masa late last year, he excitedly revealed to me the latest signing to his Anchor Point label, but was keen to keep much about the project under wraps, revealing little more than the fact that they were a duo making really great music. "The next project, I don't want to spoil too much about it but it's probably the most exciting musical thing I've ever heard, it's amazing. I don't want to spill too much details but it's a very interesting project." That duo has been unveiled as Jadu Heart, who officially made their introduction (covered in masks, of course) at the sold out Anchor Point showcase at London's Oval Space alongside Bonzai and Masa, who headlined the night.

The mysterious Jadu Heart - made up of Dina x Faro - have created and released Wanderflower, which is perhaps as difficult to describe as the band themselves. It's an ambient, ethereal experience, quite clearly partly inspired by the legendary J Dilla, but with a uniquely organic trip-hop edge. There's flourishes of R&B, soul, funk, hip-hop, pop; it's basically a concoction of every genre that you can imagine, meshed together to create a stunning and impressive debut effort, perfect for those late night drives through the city.

Wanderflower is available now on iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud and all good digital platforms.
