Following 2014's compendium of alternative pop and electronica, Melt! Festival has announced the first string of acts for its 2015 edition.

The Ferropolis, Germany festival - taking place July 17th-19th - will feature the likes of Alt-J, Kylie Minogue, London Grammar, Flume, and Jon Hopkins are some of the notable entrants, which can be read in full via the official Melt! website.

Melt! sticks out among the gamut of spring and summer festivals for its impossibly unique location. Ferropolis, two miles south of Berlin, is an open-air museum surrounded by decades old giant iron architecture and machinery. This, while sounded oddly conflicting to the idea of a modern music festival and high-energy light shows, manages to blend seamlessly - even using the gargantuan structures to a visual advantage.
