Are you struggling to get going this morning? Where we would usually go for a cup of coffee, today we are taking a new track from Melt Yourself Down. Fix my Life starts like it is a big beat track from late nineties record label Skint, before you quickly realise that you are facing a very different proposition.

I've been struggling to come up with the words to describe these guys and this is the best that I can come up with. If Luke Skywalker had taken some exceptionally strong acid before walking into the Mos Eisley Cantina then Melt Yourself Down would've been the house band.

They are a six person beast featuring members of Zun Zun Egui, Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear and the Heliocentrics which shows their caliber and proves that although they sound so completely wild and free, almost entirely unhinged. These guys know exactly what they are doing.

Fix My Life is released on the 25th of February on a limited edition 12" and to support the release the band will be playing these shows:

Wed 27 Feb 2013 The Shacklewell Arms, London
Thu 28 Feb 2013 Brudenell Social Club (Games room), Leeds
Fri 1 Mar 2013 The Bodega, Nottingham
Sat 2 Mar 2013 The Printworks, Hastings
