Wu Tang Clan's Method Man has confirmed at a recent show that the legendary hip-hop collective will be releasing a new record this year.

The group had previously confirmed they were recording again back in January and during a show on Friday Method Man took time to confirm it will be completed and out later in the year. Disharmony amongst the group had previously been a stumbling block for any potential follow up to 2007’s 8 Diagrams but with everyone back on good terms we can look forward to a new record.

This November will see the twentieth anniversary of the Wu Tang’s iconic and seminal debut album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and band member RZA has mooted previously his desire to release a new LP to coincide with that date.
