Edinburgh's Meursault have offered up the new single from their upcoming third record, Something For The Weakened.

Has the weather got you down? Are you feeling a bit blue today? 'Flittin'' soars into the highest levels of melancholy - ironically with its swooping strings and upbeat cries of lead singer Neil Pennycook - which makes it perfect music for curling up on the sofa and feeling down in the dumps to.

If you're feeling extra bummed out, the single comes backed with a piano version of the track as its b-side, which is doubly heartbreaking and yet so achingly beautiful.

Stream 'Flittin'' below and look out for Something For The Weakened when it drops via Song By Toad Recordings on 16th July.
