Music giants Sony have fallen victim to hackers, and it would appear the entire Michael Jackson back catalogue was the prime target. Why is this news when any MJ fan worth their salt would already own all the late star’s albums? Well it would appear that when Sony purchased the £110m back catalogue from the king of pops estate back in 2010 it included more unreleased works further to those the label released posthumously on the album Michael the same year.

Sony have since tightened their security but we don’t think it will be long before the stolen tracks start appearing online and it may force Sony’s hand to bring forward any release they had planned for the tracks which are thought to include duets with Freddie Mercury and Will.I.Am.
