It felt like only yesterday that we covered Keiji Inafune's crowd funded project the Mighty No. 9, the spiritual sequel to Mega Man, and now the game has mustered $2.3 million with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions confirmed for development.

The project is still $1 million shy of being developed for next-gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One, but with 12 days to go, anything can happen!

With the amount of updates Keiji Inafune and his team are sending out to it's backers and fans, I'd say this investment is well worth it,:at least the team making the game are interacting awesomely with their audience and care. Good on you, Keiji!
