In the wake of his newest album WildHeart, R&B star Miguel made a pretty damning statement among one of his biggest contemporary comparisons, Frank Ocean.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Miguel, interviewed by Paul Lester, flat out says, "I wouldn't say we were friends. To be completely honest -- and no disrespect to anyone -- I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around."

No responses have come from the way of Frank Ocean as of yet, who's eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2012's Channel Orange is still in the works. When the story broke, however, Twitter caught on board, but mistook Frank Ocean trending for word on a new album. Still nothing yet, kids.
