The Beastie Boys have seen their fair share of legal trouble recently - they're currently involved in a legal dispute with Monster energy drink per the use of the group's music in a promotional video without their permission. In a testimony given last week, Mike D revealed some news about the group's future: as a promise to the late Adam Yauch, they won't be making any new music. As the NME noted via the New York Daily News, he was quoted as saying "We have not been able to tour since MCA, Adam Yauch, died," adding "We can't make new music." They also turned down an offer for their song 'Sabotage' to be used in an Arnold Schwartzenegger movie of the same name.
