Mixlr's half a million users have been clamouring for a well integrated iPhone app, so they'll be happy to hear that the live music sharing platform is finally ready for release on iTunes. A lot of the social aspects of the desktop app have been integrated into the new release, allowing users to broadcast their tunes or mixes live from their iPhone over wireless, 3G and 4G. Broadcasters can also chat with their listeners in real time, browse through other users broadcasts with ease and comment on them. You can also see what other people are listening to, and integrate the app with your Facebook account. Check out the video below to see the app in action.

Greg Lloyd, Co-Founder and CEO of Mixlr had this to say:
“Mixlr for iPhone allows anyone to broadcast live audio from their mobile device to anywhere in the world – that’s a big deal. The release of this app opens up huge creative possibilities for our broadcasters and the additional listening features make finding and consuming great content on Mixlr really easy”

The app is free, so we're going to disappear for a while to mess around test it properly. Keep your eyes peeled for a full review in the New Year. If you fancy playing around with it yourselves, head over to iTunes and download it.
