Former Smiths frontman and icon Morrissey has listed his favourite shows of his latest tour.

In a statement to fansite True to You, he has also revealed that he is no closer to releasing his next solo album, saying that although the album is already recorded, "we are no closer to port where record label interest is concerned."

Also known for being a famously vocal anti-royalist, Morrissey’s statement criticises the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations as they take place this weekend, calling the event a "a new lesson in the force of tyranny" that is "degrading to anyone of intelligence."

Focusing on his live shows, Morrissey is full of praise for all those who turned out to his recently concluded tour of Asia and the US. In the statement he ranks his top ten performances of the tour, placing Jakarta, Indonesia at the top, adding, "I have never in my life experienced a crowd such as that of Jakarta."
